An appointment can take anywhere up to an hour, and multiple sessions are needed for optimum results. Courses of sessions are needed usually a minimum of 6-8 sessions. Small areas are usually quick to treat, typically taking a matter of minutes.

Hair grows in cycles, you’ll need several sessions to ensure the hair follicles have been destroyed for most people the results are permanent, other require maintenance sessions to keep results.
Are there any risks related to treatment?
Laser treatments can cause irritation and changes to skin tone such as hyperpigmentation or rarely hypopigmentation, though these are usually short-lived. It’s also possible for the treated skin to swell or redden after treatment, though again, this should pass, and often in a matter of hours. Overall, it’s a safe, widely-practiced procedure. You should avoid hair removal treatments (waxing, threading, creams) throughout treatment.
Am I suitable for treatment?
Most people are suitable, however for those with blonde, white or red hair, we may recommend electrolysis as an alternative treatment.
Is there anything I should avoid?
Aside from the treatments we’ve mentioned, sun protection is an absolute must, as your skin may be more sensitive. Heat treatments (spas etc.) and strenuous exercise should be avoided in the early days, and finally, keep any touching of the treated areas to a minimum and avoid perfumed products.

Electrolysis may be an alternative, depending on your concerns. You can also try our range of skincare, available in our online shop.
