1. How can the treatment help me?

   Ideal for those looking to lift the whole face, Silhouette Soft is minimally invasive, with little downtime, and with lasting results. It’s recommended in those over 30, who are noticing signs of ageing, such as loss of volume and firmness, as well as lines and wrinkles.

2. What happens during an appointment?

   After numbing the area with an anaesthetic, the entry points are marked on the skin and the sutures are gently threaded through using a needle. It’s painless and quick to perform, with many treatments completed in as little as 30 minutes.

3. How long do results take?

   Silhouette Soft creates immediate results which get better over time, owing to an increased production of collagen, a key protein which helps create firm, yet elastic, skin. The threads can’t be seen under the skin, and are absorbed over time.

4. How long do the results last?

   Results can last anywhere from 12-24 months, making it one of the most long-lasting facial aesthetic treatments available.

5. Are any other treatments recommended?

   We can carry out alternative treatments, such as a liquid facelift, to create a similar lifting effect. We can also perform injectables – anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers – to create a more youthful appearance. Finally, we can target specific areas with treatments such as our brow lift. 6. Are there any risks related to treatment?

   Some light bruising and skin irregularities should be expected in the early days. Our expert team is led by renowned Dr Ejikeme, a trainer at Queen Mary’s University in aesthetic techniques and will perfom your treatment– so you can relax in our Central London clinic for fantastic results.

   In addition, the treatment is American-developed, and has treated over 150,000 patients and counting. In rare cases, an inflammatory reaction can occur (a normal reaction to a foreign body being inserted into the skin).

7. What is the recovery time?

   Some downtime may be needed, depending on the number of sutures used and placement. Silhouette Soft themselves suggest a few days may be all that’s required, depending on individual circumstances.

8. What will my results look like?

   You can expect smoother skin and a more taut and tight appearance over time. However, bear in mind that everyone responds differently to treatment, and results may also depend on the number of sutures used, placement, and individual differences.

9. How do I care for my skin afterwards?

   We always advise against make-up and alcohol in the first 24 hours of a facial aesthetics procedure, and for specific procedures such as Silhouette Soft, heat treatments, high-impact spots and other facial treatments may need to be avoided for a few weeks. Smoking is not recommended, as it can inhibit healing.
