1. How can lip augmentation help me?

   Our lip fillers help to create fullness and shape, and they can also smooth lines around the mouth. During your consultation, we’ll work with you to create achievable results which still look natural and in proportion.

2. What happens during an appointment?

   After a consultation, our experts will gently and effectively inject your lip fillers, massaging the product to give a beautiful and natural appearance. To create some results, you may need several sessions as we will only inject a small amount at a time.

3. How long does lip augmentation take?

   Our lip fillers can be carried out in around 20-30 minutes, depending on how many areas are to be injected and how much product you need.

4. How long do the results last?

   Results vary, but typically last anywhere from 3-12 months. As our lip fillers are hyaluronic-based, they’re naturally broken down by the body over time, and for some this process is faster than others.

5. How much lip filler will I need?

   We favour a ‘less is more’ approach, to ensure lips still look natural, yet elevated. We can always top-up the filler if needed.

6. Are there any risks related to lip augmentation?

   Hyaluronic acid is biocompatible – not harmful to your body – so it’s tolerated well by all skin types. No allergy test is needed and most patients will be eligible for treatment. However, there’s always the possibility of risks and side-effects with any aesthetic treatment.

   Most patients will experience mild swelling, tenderness and possibly bruising following an injection, which should ease within a matter of days. With our gentle touches, our patients are delighted with their results, but take comfort that we only use products which can be fully dissolved.

7. What is the recovery time?

   It usually takes a few weeks for your lips to fully heal, but you won’t need any time off work as there’s minimal recovery or downtime associated with the treatment.

8. Will my lips look unnatural?

   We always aim to elevate your beauty, but in a balance and natural way. We inject just the right amount of filler to give you that beautiful boost, without overdoing the effect.

9. How do I care for my lips afterwards?

   There’s lots you can do to help prevent bruising and swelling following treatment:

   • Keep lips hydrated
   • Avoid touching the lip area in the early days
   • Avoid alcohol, heat treatments and exercise in
   • Do not smoke, as this affects healing
